Equity is a big part of compensation at most startups, including our fictional startup SpiceConnect (for explanation see here). It's also very complicated, so we do everything we can to make sure current and prospective employees understand how it works and how best to manage it.

• This Holloway Guide is also good, although it costs $25 (feel free to expense it!)

We also host regular sessions with one of our Founders, explaining the ins and outs of equity and answering any questions people have.

You can also check in the #equity-qa channel on Slack to ask general questions, and search through previous discussions around equity.
