Initial hello! (30 min)

This is a “getting to know you” chat for both parties. You’ll learn more about Hex, our Design org, and how we think about design systems. We’ll learn more about your past experience, your technical depth, and what excites you about building scalable UI foundations.

We’re particularly interested in:

• Your experience owning or contributing to a design system
• How you collaborate with designers and engineers
• The kind of problems you enjoy solving
• What “quality” means to you in product UI

Portfolio & Systems Review

ROUND TWO

Portfolio + Design System Deep Dive (1 hour)

You’ll walk through 2–3 case studies that demonstrate your skills, process, and impact. Ideally, at least one project highlights work on a design system, component library, or UI architecture.

Please come prepared to discuss:

• Your specific role and ownership
